We're teaching beginners and improver classes for TangoSoul at the Nuffield Health Club Studio, (Endell Street, Covent Garden. www.cannons.co.uk/our-clubs/covent-garden).
Mondays
8.00-9.00pm Beginners
9.00-10.00pm Improvers
Fridays
7.45-9.00pm Beginners

Each class is 10£ but if you take 2 on the same day you get it for 15£.
The classes are open and no registration is needed so just turn up.

Teaching

From Monday 27th July we'll be teaching TangoSoul beginners' classes at the Nuffield Health Club Studio, (Endell Street, Covent Garden. www.cannons.co.uk/our-clubs/covent-garden).
It's every monday during Aug, and then there might be some changes to the schedule from Sept (check this site for updates).
8.00-9.00 class and 9.00-9.30 practice/social dance.
The class is 10£ and the practice is 2£.

Tango holiday

We just came back from a tango holiday with refreshed inspiration - first a week and a half dancing the night away in Istanbul including performing at the Saturday night milonga (pictures to come), and then 5 days at the Sitges tango festival in Spain.

Anja & Tim's Tango CV

Tim has studied and danced Argentine tango intensively since 2002 in all its forms: Close Embrace, Salon, Escenario and Nuevo. He travels regularly to Europe and Argentina for festivals and training where he has studied with many of the world's most influential maestros, notably Alejandro & Marisol, Gustavo & Giselle, Osvaldo & Lorena and Carlos Gavito. From this variety of experience he brings creativity, precision and didactic clarity to the dance. Since 2006 he has taught and performed with various partners at numerous events in cities around England and Scotland. In 2007 he was semifinalist in the prestigious "Metropolitano" championship of Buenos Aires. Recently he has also been teaching in London with Eleonora at Tangology.

Anja has studied and danced Argentine tango intensively since 2005, building on her previous salsa experience. She is regularly travelling to festivals around the world to constantly improve and refine her tango, she especially counts Pablo Inza and Alejandro Larenas & Marisol Morales as strong influencers. Her focus is on musicality and creativity as well as on the overall intensity and elegance of the dance. Since 2007 she has been giving workshops with various partners in Denmark, Lithuania and cities around England, where her explanations bring clarity and insight to the leading and following involved. In London she has also taught with Amir Giles, Julian Elizari and Mark Reyes.
